IP Office achieves record number of trademarks

During the presentation Héctor Balmaceda. Director of Observance at Dinapi, valued the "great work of all the people from the IP Office in order to respond to massive applications for trademark registrations filed in 2017".
Balmaceda also stressed the IP seizure operations carried out by Dinapi last year, where seized counterfeited and smuggled products counted for a total value of nearly USD 29 million. "Several types of merchandise was confiscated by national authorities in conjunction with Dinapi, but mainly electronics products and accessories for cell phones", Balmaceda highlighted.
