Over 600 representatives from the licensed‑community of Esencial Costa Rica gathered at the B2B Forum 2025, held in San José, Costa Rica. The event, organized by Esencial Costa Rica as part of its Country Brand activities, focused on promoting innovation, sustainability, and business development.
The forum is part of ongoing efforts by Esencial Costa Rica to promote the country’s brand identity, strengthen business connections, and encourage compliance with national and international standards.
During the forum, a new version of the corporate licensing protocol for the brand was presented. The updated protocol is designed as a digital process that incorporates over 40 international certifications, aiming to simplify the evaluation process for companies seeking or renewing a license.
The event featured presentations and discussions from international speakers on topics including technological transformation, sustainability, responsible tourism, and talent attraction.
Created in 2013 by PROCOMER, the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT), and CINDE, Essential Costa Rica unifies the country’s promotion across tourism, exports, and foreign investment. It functions as a certification program for companies that meet high standards, helping position the country as a trustworthy, forward-looking, and environmentally responsible destination for business and tourism alike.
