Following an order issued by the Local Attorney of Iquique for a crime against Law 17.336 on Intellectual Property, detectives of the brigade investigating crime in port enclosures (Briderpo, for tis Spanish acronym), concurred to a shed located in the Free Zone of Iquique, which has become an important center of trade for foreign countries in the region as Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru and Bolivia.
Once the procedure was completed, all seized products were removed from the market since they were intended to be commercialized without the needed legal documents nor the authorizations of the brand owners.
