New filing functionality for Trademark Trial and Appeal Board customers

As part of efforts to modernize its systems and improve customer experience, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) launched the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) Center open beta for filing notices of opposition.
During the form’s open beta period, which will last six months, customers will have the option of filing a notice of opposition using TTAB Center or the existing filing platform, the Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA).
Over the next few years, the USPTO will continue transitioning to TTAB Center as the central platform for parties doing business with the TTAB, replacing ESTTA.
