AMA, a new music copyright association, was launched in Argentina in September 2023.
AMA is promoted as the first music aggregator in the country. Music aggregators help artists and record labels distribute their music to digital music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Tidal.
They play an important role in the music industry by making it easier for artists to get their music heard by a global audience. They also help artists to manage their music rights and track their earnings.
AMA will provide a number of services to its members, including:
-Collective bargaining for royalties from the use of their music.
-Legal advice and representation on copyright matters.
-Advocacy for copyright reform.
-Networking and professional development opportunities.
