Nicaragua Designs 2016
By Guy José Bendaña-Guerrero & Asociados

Nicaragua Diseña was created in October 2012 by the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism (Intur, for its acronym in Spanish), as the first official exhibition dedicated to the Nicaraguan design. Since its 2012 edition it has set a new exhibition format throughout the country: an innovative incubator that for two consecutive days presents different artists through interactive booths and simultaneous gateways.
The event looks to awaken a creative consciousness in Nicaraguan youth, establish a platform for new generations of artists and designers to interact with local and international industry members, and promote creativity and national talent in order to attract potential buyers and domestic and foreign investors.
The 2016 edition will bring new products, trainings, exhibitors, designers and special guests, all united through runways, conferences, seminars and stands.
Registration for participants will be open until June 12. Among the categories to be presented are: food, fashion, design and visual communication, visual arts, architecture, product design and events.
