The Salon International de l’alimentation (SIAL) is globally recognized as the world's largest food innovation exhibition and in 2017 it had 2,189 products registered, 552 food innovations selected by a jury of professionals and 15 Awards given to the most innovative products.
Through its Chamber of Industry (Cadin) and the Franco-Nicaraguan Chamber of Commerce (CCFRNIC), Nicaragua aims to exchange knowledge with professionals from the food industry, publicize the evolution of the Nicaraguan food industry and discover possible innovations, investments and opportunities for local producers.
“This fair is one of the largest in the world and is a complete and representative offer of all agents in the sector of food and beverages”, said Sergio Maltez, president of Cadin.
