No similarity of marks

The Salvadoran company EDT El Salvador S.A. filed an application to register RUFITAS to protect goods in International Class 30. PepsiCo Inc. opposed this application, based on the similarity of RUFITAS to its famous mark RUFFLES, which identifies goods in the same class. The National Bureau of Registries, on appeal, reversed the admission of the opposition by the Intellectual Property Department, finding no similarity between the marks.
