Nokia back in Argentina
By Estudio Chaloupka

Argentina is among the worldwide top 20 markets for Nokia, and third in Latin America after Brazil and Mexico. The main goal for Nokia is to reach a 10% share of Argentina’s mobile phone business, an industry that moves between 10 and 11 million units per year.
While HMD has already agreed with local importers and retail chains for the distribution of its Nokia 1, Nokia 3 and Nokia 6.1 models, it is also analyzing with local partner Solnik the manufacturing and assembling of devices in the country, selecting Tierra del Fuego, southernmost Argentina, as a potential location.
