Pacific Alliance networking platform for startups

From July 21 to 26, 2021, the Pacific Alliance organized the 9th edition of the event LAB4+: Entrepreneurship and Innovation Forum, a networking platform for startups, investors, buyers, and exporters of the Industry 4.0 production chain of the member states and third markets.LAB4+ aims to situate the Pacific Alliance as a regional integration mechanism that promotes entrepreneurship, innovation and services trades within its members as well as to explore commercial opportunities with third markets.
Its 2021 edition discussed the trends and challenges of the Industry 4.0 and the Pacific Alliance initiatives to foster the entrepreneurship and innovation regional ecosystem. The event gathered approximately 60 businesspeople between startups and investors both from the Pacific Alliance and third markets, related to FinTech, HealthTech, AgriTech, EdTech, Internet of things, artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual reality and cybersecurity.
The Pacific Alliance a regional economic integration mechanism comprised by Peru, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, which looks to develop competitiveness through the free circulation of goods, services, capital and people.
“With the LAB4 + Forum we promote the development of a Latin American innovative ecosystem and offer high added value products and services. We hope that all Peruvian tech-related SMEs can access important opportunities for their business development and economic growth,” said Amora Carbajal, Executive President of Peru’s Promotion Agency.
