Paraguay: a potential producer of silicon and solar panels
The Paraguayan government entity responsible for supplying electricity (ANDE), has signed an agreement with an Argentinean capital firm to produce at early stage silicon and then solar panels in Paraguay.

A government report mentioned that several projects with the purpose of installing electro-intensive companies were received and for that end, they asked special rates for electricity.

The mentioned agreement establishes the settlement of a rate for the Argentinean Company Ferroalineaciones Yguazu that will be installed in the city of Limpio.

Considering the current photovoltaic market situation and the high demand of solar panels, we believe that this will be an investment with great economic profitability for our country.
