Paraguay, best business climate in Latin America

The so called “economic sentiment indicator” (indicador de clima enconomico in spanish), a quarterly survey made by the two institutions between 138 specialists from 18 countries, stated in January of this year that Latin America stood 5.5 points above October's 5.2 points and January´s 5.0 points.
Paraguay and Peru share the top spots in business climate in Latin America, with 7.0 points each. The worst being in the ranked, according to this study are Venezulea with 1.5 and Ecuador with 4.0 points.
It is by far the best year to invest in Latin America; the whole region has an abundance of opportunities for any type of investor. According to the Paraguayan Central Bank, the country’s economy is expected to expand 10.5% in 2013. Paraguay´s economic success in 2013 will be mainly driven by growth in exports of soybeans and beef.
