Peru COVID-19 situation update

Since March 15, 2020 the Peruvian Government has imposed a legal lockdown because of the COVID-19 outbreak, that is currently extended until at least June 30, 2020.
In compliance with this measure and also safeguarding the health of our collaborators, we have taken the necessary measures in order to continue working from our respective homes, so we are able and willing to continue attending your queries and instructions, submitting the filings in all the cases were the corresponding tools are available.
All legal terms from INDECOPI have been expressly suspended since March 16 until June 10, 2020. Although there is still no official announcement, the departments of Distinctive Signs and Inventions of INDECOPI will open again on June 1, 2020, with a reduced staff. INDECOPI employees are currently working remotely, but no resolutions or notifications of any kind are issued.
