Peru invited to world´s leading trade fair for organic food

From 13 to 16 February 2019 Peru will participate in BIOFACH, the world´s leading trade fair for organic food, which takes place every year in the city of Nuremberg, Germany. "It is a great distinction, but also a great opportunity to show us in an international showcase as an excellent supplier of organic and functional products”, said Luis Torres Paz, Promperú's Export Promotion Director.

BIOFACH is an important business event for the sector, and both a get-together and an opportunity for positioning. This year 3,218 exhibitors presented a wide variety of organic products from 93 countries. 

In 2019 Peru will arrive to the fair with its Super Foods Peru trademark, created to brand the exceptional products for the palate and the wellness of the body that make Peru a land of unique delicacies.

“Without a doubt it will be a new challenge, in which business associations and other Peruvian public institutions will join efforts to enhance the image of our country”, added Paz.
