Peru reactivates trademark registration services
Peru’s Intellectual Property Office (INDECOPI) has reactivated its online services for trademark registrations, allowing the IP system users to fulfill the needed steps for obtaining a trademark in the country.

As all legal terms from INDECOPI have been expressly suspended until May 6, 2020, the Office will start processing trademark applications on May 7, 2020.

Since March 15, 2020 the Peruvian Government has imposed a legal lockdown because of the COVID-19 outbreak that is currently extended until at least April 26, 2020. In compliance with the country’s sanitary measure and also safeguarding the health of our collaborators, we have taken the necessary measures in order to continue working from our respective homes, continuing to attend all clients instructions regarding trademark related services.
