Peru Textiles, a new brand for repowering Peruvian fashion industry
By Francisco Espinosa Reboa

The main goal is positioning the new brand on the top cities, markets and runways of Europe and the United States, highlighting its exotic, ancient and natural production. Focus will be on medium-high and high consumer segments, for which media campaigns are already scheduled.
"This new brand is a commitment from both the public and private sectors that seek to position our country as a textile cluster of vertical integration. We want to generate added value for consumers in Europe and the US. With Peru Textiles, Peruvian clothes will be recognized on those markets as a quality product that meets the highest standards expected by a quality consumer", she said.
To meet that idea, the launching of "Peru Textiles" was sharped by the participation ofinternationally acclaimed Peruvian fashion designer Jorge Luis Salinas, who recently participated in the New York Fashion Week alongside industry legends like Vera Wang.
"It is certainly a big step not only in the repowering of the sector, but also in reviving our economy and strengthening our identity to the world", ended its presentation Silva Velarde-Alvárez.
