Pisco Spirit of Peru Event Promotes Peruvian Spirit to Global Audience

By Espinosa Bellido Abogados

The “Pisco Spirit of Peru” event was held on July 11, 2023, at the International Conference Center of Geneva, Switzerland. The event featured a tasting of piscos from different regions of Peru, as well as presentations on the history and production of pisco. The event also included a networking reception.

The event was co-organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Government of Peru. It was a way to promote pisco, a traditional Peruvian spirit, to a global audience. Pisco is a brandy made from fermented grape juice, and it is the national drink of Peru. It is also becoming increasingly popular in other countries around the world.

The event was well-attended by representatives from the WIPO Member States, as well as by people from the local community. The participants enjoyed the tasting of piscos and the presentations on the history and production of pisco. They also appreciated the opportunity to network with other people who are interested in pisco.

The “Pisco Spirit of Peru” event was a success, and it helped to promote pisco to a global audience. The event is expected to be held again in the future.
