Ortega closed the 2017 Business of the Future Americas, main annual meeting of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA), which for the first time was held in Nicaragua.
"Nicaragua enjoys true justice and social security because the government, the workers and the business community are in constant contact. Here every workers' salary must be negotiated with a meeting", said Ortega according to La Prensa newspaper. "All sums up in a favorable climate for investors", he added, highlighting the benefits of the public–private partnership (PPP) that the country supports.
The Business Future of the Americas brought together all AACCLA chambers of from across the Western Hemisphere to discuss the main opportunities and challenges of unleashing economic potential in the Americas.
