ROBALINO advises on Avianca’s US$600 Million Notes Offering

ROBALINO is proud to announce its role as Ecuadorian legal counsel to a powerhouse syndicate of financial institutions in connection with the issuance of US$600,000,000 in 9.500% Senior Secured Notes due 2031 by Avianca MidCo 2 PLC, a subsidiary of Avianca Group.
The net proceeds are intended to redeem a portion of the Group's 9.000% Senior Secured Notes due 2028 and for general corporate purposes, strategically extending the maturity of its indebtedness.
Legal Counsel Roles:
-Counsel to Initial Purchasers: ROBALINO served as local counsel in Ecuador for the joint bookrunners, including Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, and others. International counsel to the initial purchasers was provided by Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.
-Counsel to Avianca Group: The issuer was represented by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as international counsel and Walkers Global for Bermuda and Cayman Islands law matters.
