Robalino Advises Solaris Resources on Landmark Expansion Agreement with ENAMI EP
By Robalino

Robalino is pleased to announce its successful legal advisory role for Solaris Resources Inc. in a landmark agreement with Ecuador’s state-owned mining company, ENAMI EP. This transaction grants Solaris an exclusive option to acquire up to a 100% interest in approximately 40,000 hectares of highly prospective exploration areas, now designated as "Solaris 2".
The expansion strategically consolidates Solaris' footprint around its world-class Warintza Project in southeastern Ecuador. The "Solaris 2" areas capture extensions of key geological trends, reinforcing the vision of developing a premier global copper mining hub.
The legal team at Robalino, led by Partner Andrés Donoso and Senior Associate Cristina Coello, played a pivotal role in navigating the complex regulatory framework and commercial negotiations required for this second major agreement between Solaris and the Ecuadorian State.
Key Transaction Highlights:
-Expansion: Addition of ~40,000 hectares to the Warintza district footprint.
-Investment Commitment: A proposed minimum exploration program of US$25 million over a 4-year phase.
-Strategic Partnership: Strengthening the cooperation between international private capital and ENAMI EP.
-Technical Milestones: Parallel advancement of the Feasibility Study and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the flagship project.
