Second National Contest of Industrial Designs
The National Intellectual Property Service (Senapi) of Bolivia officially launched the second edition of the National Contest of Industrial Designs. "This event has the objective of promoting the creation and registration of industrial and craft designs throughout the country", stated Pablo Aracena, responsible for the patent department at Senapi.

The first edition of the Contest had 120 participants from 10 universities across the country, a number that authorities expect to surpass this year.

"Bolivian creative designers are really happy with this opportunity. An event like this is increasingly important and will give all of us more recognition year after year", said Sergio Peláez, winner of the first place award in the Industrial Designs category of the 2016 Contest.
