SIPI, the Integrated System for Intellectual Property Registration
The Integrated System for Intellectual Property Registration (SIPI) is a new device created to improve the registration process of trademarks and patents, as well as improve monitoring and control of all processes stages. Developed by the National Intellectual Property Service (Senapi) of Bolivia, it became operational in August 24.

The new system will reduce the likelihood of errors in the fill out of forms and allow online registration, monitoring and control of all processes, developiong them in an effectively and efficiently manner both for users and employees.

With this virtual device users do not need to travel to the offices of Senapi, that will provide a tutorial video with using instructions. The instructions will also be available in Senapi´s website. 
Orpan

ORPAN was established in 1955 by brothers Joaquin Soruco (1908 – 1984) and Gonzalo Soruco (1910 – 1994). It was one of the first specialized law firms in patent and trademark matters in Bolivia.

The daughter of co-founder Joaquín Soruco, Mrs. Pilar Soruco, took over the direction of ORPAN in 1986.

At present, Mrs. Soruco is the main partner of ORPAN, working with a specialized team of more than 20 attorneys, assistants and paralegals.
