"We are going to bring a large delegation composed of Korean associations and officials who want to explore possible areas of work", the diplomat told to local reporters according to EFE news agency.
Nicaraguan areas of interest to South Korea are especially related to aquaculture and technology transfers, said the ambassador, and also security in the fishing industry.
Last month, as part of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between the two countries, the Nicaraguan National Assembly declared October 3 as "Nicaragua-Korea Friendship Day." South Korea has provided cooperation to Nicaragua in potable water projects, solar energy, road construction and many other sectors.
