Taiwan encourages investment in Honduras

Tsai, who accepted the credentials of the new ambassador of Honduras to Taiwan Eny Yamileth Bautista Guevara at the Presidential Office, said she looks forward to working closely with her to bring new vitality and fresh developments in bilateral relations.
"Over the past three years or so, our countries have seen many cooperative achievements in public health, agriculture, education, science, and technology," Tsai said. In terms of tourism, the president went on to add that the government organized a delegation comprised of local tour operators to visit Honduras this year, with the hope that this helps to promote its culture and customs to Taiwanese, as well boost visits to the country.
"In the future, we will actively invite Honduran companies to attend trade shows and exhibitions in Taiwan," she said, adding that the government will also continue to encourage Taiwanese companies to invest in Honduras to create mutually beneficial developments.
