Taiwan, the new home for Nicaraguan coffee
By Guy José Bendaña-Guerrero & Asociados

According to Orlando Solórzano, Minister of Development, Industry and Commerce of Nicaragua, at first the country began to export coffee to Taiwan in an amount that barely reached USD 400 thousand annually: the Asian country, which at that moment occupied the 26th place in Nicaraguan coffee destinations, became 6th in 2016.
"This shows a very high and accelerated growth, but also shows the good taste that the Taiwanese have for coffee, because Nicaraguan coffee is one of the best in the world".
