Tha National Bureau of Registries participates in the First Technology Fair
The Director of the Intellectual Property Registry, Ms. Diana Hasbún, participated in the opening ceremony of the First Technology Fair organized by the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education held on October 29 and 30 where companies, universities, technical institutes, schools and government institutions presented scientific and technological advances.

The main objective of this fair is to publicize the Scientific and Technological Development Law, the ITC National Plan, the national research agenda and all projects currently being developed by the Department of Science and Technology, providing a space for the exchange of experiences between institutions that create knowledge and those responsible for transforming it into applied knowledge based on the needs of the Salvadoran reality and the use of science and technology by state institutions, the education system, research centers, private companies, NGOs and other public and private organizations.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, Minister of Economy , Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, and the Executive Director of the Salvadoran Association of Industrialists.

The National Bureau of Registries, through the Department of the Intellectual Property Registry, participated in this fair with a booth where information related to the registration of patents and trademarks was provided including its advantages, tariffs and the whole procedure for registration of the same.
