The National Intellectual Property Policy keeps going
The National Bureau of Registries (CNR) and the Ministry of Economy are taking action to promote the National Intellectual Property Policy (PNPI) in El Salvador, a program launched on November 2014 that aims to promote the generation, protection and proper use of the different categories of Intellectual Property that contribute to national development and competitiveness.

The Deputy Minister of Economy, Luz Estrella Rodríguez, and the Director of the Intellectual Property Department of the national Bureau of Registries (CNR), Martha Evelyn Menjivar, visited "Flor de Fuego", a company that produces "chaparro", a liquor made out of distilled corn that seeks to be recognized as a Designation of Origin.
