The Paraguayan Association of Intellectual Property Agents honoured Dr. Hugo T. Berkemeyer

The Paraguayan Association of Intellectual Property Agents (Apapi) honoured Dr. Hugo T. Berkemeyer during the international seminar "Intellectual Property & Regulatory Aspects", held on December 5, 2024.
This recognition highlights Dr. Berkemeyer's exceptional career and significant contributions to Intellectual Property, which have inspired and left an indelible mark on new generations of lawyers dedicated to this legal specialty.
Hugo T. Berkemeyer is a senior attorney and manager partner general director of BKM | Berkemeyer. He graduated from the National University of Asunción in 1983 with an LLM from the University of San Diego and a specialization from the Franklin Pierce Law Center. He is the first Paraguayan to be named president of ASIPI, the leading Industrial Property association in the Americas.
Among his various appointments, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and as President of the Inter American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).
