Tigo Music launched

Luxembourg mobile operator Tigo launched in El Salvador Tigo Music, a live music platform that includes over 30 million songs from all genres of national and international artists, trips to concerts, live sessions, ring back tones and several other exclusive contents.

"We are excited to bring Salvadorans a unique option in the market to really live the experience of music”, said Claudia Nieves, Vice President of Marketing for Tigo, during the presentation of the new service in a spectacular Rooftop Party at La Gran Via mall.

“We want all Salvadorans to live the experience of digital life, so we created a place to enjoy good music from international and local artists. Users can find thousands of playlists, relevant recommendations for every taste and unique contents", added Germán Vega, director of Entertainment of Tigo.

The platform will allow the company users to easily and securely create playlists and share them from their smartphones, tablets or Pcs, even reproducing them without connecting to the web. It will be initially available for postpaid customers with navigation plans from 2G on those who increase their current navigation capability in their plans.
