Tren a las Nubes, new Country Brand

According to Télam news agency, in 2016 the Train to the Clouds received 16.000 passengers, of which 10% were from Salta, 65% from the rest of Argentina and 25% from foreign countries. Visitors have continued to grow throughout the years, a fact that did not go unnoticed for the government, who granted the Country Brand to the attraction.
"This train is not only a tourist icon, but it is also a fundamental factor in the productive development of the communities that it crosses throughout its route", said the Minister of Tourism of Argentina, Gustavo Santos, during the award ceremony. "Everyday we see the results of this train, which generates a significant economic impact on the towns that are on its route", he added.
