Updated information on the situation in Argentina related to COVID-19

On June 7, 2020, Argentina’s Executive Power extended until June 28, 2020, the mandatory and preventive social isolation aimed at slowing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.In accordance with the Government decision, the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI) issued Resolution 51/2020 extending the suspension of all legal terms in progress from June 8 until June 28, 2020. INPI has established a care customer service with minimum guards and a shift system. After obtaining an appointment via email, the user must respect the assigned shift schedule and comply with social distancing and sanitary regulations. The Office also has available all its electronic platforms for several processes.
Finally, the Argentine Supreme Court decided on the extension of its extraordinary recess from June 8 until June 28, 2020.
