Uruguay Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Forum

The Uruguay Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fórum was held in Montevideo on August 29, 2024, aiming to bring together influential stakeholders from Uruguay, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and around the globe to explore the transformative potential of innovation and AI for economic development.
The event gathered policymakers, practitioners, academics, and civil society representatives to discuss the opportunities and challenges that innovation and AI presents for Uruguay and the region. The forum seeked to foster public-private collaboration and create a shared vision for leveraging innovation to drive productivity and economic development, positioning Uruguay internationally as a leading country in generating and scaling innovations.
A diverse group of stakeholders engaged in a series of panel discussions and networking sessions to share insights, best practices, and strategies for leveraging innovation to promote inclusive and sustainable growth in Uruguay in LAC.
