Uruguayan goods exports on the increase

According to a report issued by Uruguay XXI in April 2019, national goods exports registered an interannual growth of 10.1 percent, totalizing US$ 864 million. Particularly, growth in cellulose, soybean, beef and meat by-products exports are noteworthy.

China continues to lead export destinations, with a total value of US$ 183 million, followed by Brazil (US$ 104 million), and the United States (US$ 47 million).
