Venezuela works to strengthen trade with Latin America

Félix Plasencia, Minister of Tourism and Foreign Trade, held a video conference with Venezuelan ambassadors and chiefs of Missions to Latin America in order to deepen trade and tourism with the region’s countries.At the meeting, they discussed the tourism, trade road between Venezuela and the continent’s nations in order to strengthened new ties amid the new world reality due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The video conference was also attended by Rander Peña, vice-minister for Latin America; Adán Chávez, ambassador to Cuba; Francisco Arias Cárdenas, ambassador to Mexico; and Stella Lugo, ambassador to Argentina, among others.
The Venezuelan Government is working on a daily basis to reactivate and boost tourism and trade in strict compliance with sanitary and safety protocols to protect the people against coronavirus.
