World IP Day celebration
The National Bureau of Registries promoted on April 26 the World Intellectual Property Day by conducting several activities on TV and radio stations.

Through those visits the Bureau tried to sensitize and aware general public about the importance and benefits of Intellectual Property as a tool for the cultural, social and economic development of the country and its people.

Interviews were focused on topics such as the importance of IP nationwide, the continuous work on the matter performed by government organisms throughout the country and the various activities that took place to celebrate the World IP Day.

Every April 26 the World Intellectual Property Organization raises public awareness about the role of IP in daily life, celebrating the contribution made by innovators and creators to the development of societies across the globe.

This year, with new centers of cinematic excellence sprouting in dozens of countries around the world and the global intellectual property system supporting the creation and delivery of films to eager audiences, the theme of the World IP Day 2014 was “Movies: A Global Passion”.
