XVII National Competition of Inventions and Industrial Designs
The Peruvian IP Office (Indecopi), through its Directorate of Inventions and New Technologies, launched the XVII National Competition of Inventions and Industrial Designs, which for the first time will recognize industrial designs.

Winners will receive a cash prize for developing their creation, the financing of the fee for filing the application to register their creation before Indecopi, and a scholarship for the virtual course "Intellectual property for inventors, scientists and industrial designers”.

With the prizes Indecopi not only seeks to recognize and reward the creativity and innovation spirit of Peruvians, but also develop their products and technologies in both a national and international frame, facilitating their protection.
